Some History...
Don't we all love a little history?
The log side of this home was build in 1847 and then later added onto with a dogtrot in the middle in the 1910. Now, instead of entering in through the dogtrot, you get to enter into a large entry foyer. Perfect for welcoming your guests.
In 2020, we were able to renovate the home, giving it several upgrades while also keeping it true to it's history. Our goal was to leave as much of the original home exposed as we could and those details are what makes the interior so cozy.
Situated on over 100 acres, it is a wonderful place to find some rest, while watching our horses out the back window or taking a few minutes to enjoy the creek across the street.
With a long front porch, with rocking chairs, and a covered back patio, there is a nice bit of space to spread out and enjoy nature while you are here.
